Our values underpin everything we do – from ensuring rigorous safety standards in the development and manufacture of new medicines to interacting ethically with healthcare professionals, patient groups and political stakeholders. How we do things is just as important as what we do. We have designed our values-based culture to ensure we put patients and consumers first every time.
 
As well as our Code of Conduct, we adhere to a global Code of Practice for Promotion and Customer Interactions. This ensures our scientific engagement and marketing activity is driven by our values and all promotions are accurate and identified as such. By modernizing our behavior we hope to provide greater clarity around our interactions with healthcare professionals and stronger confidence in our commitment to put patients and customers first.
 
Despite progress in improving access to healthcare, inequalities by socioeconomic status, geography and gender continue to persist. Today, access to quality healthcare is beyond the reach of around a third of the world’s population. Julphar is committed to meeting the health needs of the highest possible number of patients worldwide. 
 
We are actively working with governments, international organizations and research institutions, as well as through our R&D efforts on innovative medicines to address these issues. We believe that the solutions will come not just from the pharmaceutical industry but from patients, regulators and governments. We are committed to being transparent about our successes and failures and measure not only our outputs, but also the outcomes.
A fundamental Julphar objective is to maintain a culture where the willingness to do the right thing, to comply with applicable laws and Julphar’s policies, is fully embedded across the organization. Our ethical standards support the achievement of our business objectives while ensuring compliance and promoting business ethical values in daily activities.
 
We work closely with our suppliers so that they will take CSR principles on board and comply with high standards, a decisive factor in their commercial relationships with Julphar. Julphar recognizes the importance of defining, respecting and continuously revisiting and improving consistent and transparent bioethical standards throughout our research and clinical development activities.
